SAMPLE — Shortened onboarding for new engineers
- Situation
- Sample fixture. New engineers took weeks to make a first meaningful change because setup knowledge lived in people's heads.
- Task
- Sample fixture. Make the path from clone to first shipped change short enough that it stopped being a topic.
- Action
- Sample fixture. Wrote the runbook from real failures rather than theory, and automated the steps that kept recurring.
- Result
- Sample fixture — replace with a real outcome and a number.
